About the Radiolink Plus Wireless Dynamometer Load Cell

One of a number of load cell devices made by Straightpoint, the Radiolink Plus is an excellent option for anyone who wants to control this type of equipment remotely while enjoying excellent accuracy and unmatched build quality.

Manufactured from aircraft grade aluminium the robust Radiolink plus load cell is ideal for both weighing and dynamic load measuring.

Data is transmitted wirelessly to the hand held controller using the latest technology.

The hand held control runs from AA alkaline batteries, this is because they are much easier to source and removes the need for battery chargers etc. the advanced circuitry extends the battery life with the hand held having 400 hours and the loadcell 1200hours continual use.

Ideal for use together with the data logging software which stores data in cvs. file format and opens in excel for easy day to day use.

Capacity considerations

As you might expect from a piece of equipment like this, the Radiolink Plus is not a single model of load cell but rather a family of several similar units which offer a range of load capacities to give buyers more choice. 

The most compact of the bunch has a 1 tonne load limit, while the device itself tips the scales at just 1.4kg. In contrast the largest in the line-up can cope with 300 tonnes of weight and itself weights 118kg to account for this increased capacity. 

You should always keep the capacity of any piece of lifting equipment in mind when choosing and using, because safe lifting is entirely reliant on sticking within these manufacturer defined limits.
